Dr. Jaleh B. Farahmand, M.D., is certified by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Farahmand received her medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine in Iran, after which she completed a residency program in Obstetrics & Gynecology in major Tehran University hospitals. She successfully passed her ECFMG & FLEX exams following emigration to the United States and settling in Boston. She has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in the U.S. for more than 25 years.

Dr. Farahmand's training and background allowed her to be accepted into a fellowship program in Reproductive Gynecology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and a residency in OB/GYN at St. Elizabeth Medical Center/Tufts Medical School.

Dr. Farahmand remained in solo OB/GYN practice in Boston for over 25 years, where she was also a faculty member at Harvard & Tufts Medical Schools and an active staff member at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and their affiliated clinics.

Dr. Farahmand's extensive training and experience in her field -- in particular, Reproductive Gynecology & Menopause -- her passion in learning and keeping up with cutting-edge advances in medicine, and her familiarity with and understanding of diverse cultural women's issues allows her to be a unique expert for her patients as well as an advocate to trust, to consult and to support.
